Lake Mary Stake Wards (Congregations)

A ward is a local congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a community of members who worship, serve, and support one another in living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Each ward is led by a bishop, who, along with his counselors, provides spiritual guidance and oversees the members' needs. Wards are organized into different groups, including Relief Society (for women), Elders Quorum (for men), Young Men, Young Women, Primary (for children), and Sunday School. Members gather weekly for sacrament meetings, gospel instruction, and fellowship.

Wards function as spiritual families, offering ministering, service, and unity. Everyone has a role. Members strengthen each other and grow closer to Christ through shared faith and commitment. Wards belong to a larger group called a stake, which provides additional leadership and support.

All positions in wards and stakes are filled by members who serve voluntarily in a lay ministry, without pay, as an expression of their faith and commitment to Christ.

The Lake Mary Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serves all of Seminole County, Florida. It includes multiple wards and branches, uniting members in worship, service, and gospel learning. Focused on faith, family, and community, the stake provides spiritual leadership and support to strengthen individuals and families in Christ.
