Stake Presidency Message
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we step into February, a season often associated with love and connection, we are reminded of the greatest love of all—the love our Savior, Jesus Christ, has for each of us. His infinite sacrifice and perfect example provide us with the foundation to build loving relationships in our families, wards, and communities.
This month, we invite all members of the Lake Mary Stake to reflect on how we can follow the Savior’s example by showing greater love and compassion. Whether through ministering, serving in our callings, or reaching out to a friend or neighbor in need, small acts of kindness can have an eternal impact.
Strengthening Our Families:
As President Gordon B. Hinckley once said, "The most important work we will ever do will be within the walls of our own homes." We encourage you to prioritize family scripture study, prayer, and family home evening. These simple practices invite the Spirit and strengthen relationships.
Inviting Others to Come Unto Christ:
February is a wonderful time to share the gospel. Consider inviting a friend or loved one to join you in a Sunday meeting, a ward activity, or even a simple conversation about faith. As we reach out, we are blessed with opportunities to share the joy of the gospel.
Temple and Family History Work:
The temple is a place of peace, love, and connection. If you haven’t already, make it a goal this month to attend the temple and seek inspiration for your ancestors. As you engage in family history work, you will feel the joy of connecting with your eternal family.
As always, we express our love and gratitude for each of you. Thank you for your dedication to living and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that you will feel the Lord’s love and guidance in your lives throughout this month and beyond.
With love,
The Lake Mary Stake Presidency

We are excited for the President’s Challenge in February and the opportunity it gives you to grow closer to Jesus Christ and each other. Your dedication to your Aaronic Priesthood responsibilities is inspiring, and we are grateful for your faith and service. As February is a month of love, let’s remember that Christ is our first love and our greatest source of strength. Daily scripture study through Seminary is a powerful way to strengthen testimony, deepen understanding, and invite the Spirit into our lives. As we continue learning together, we encourage each student to stay committed, come prepared, and support one another in this journey of gospel learning.
Parents, your encouragement and involvement make a difference! Thank you for helping your youth prioritize Seminary and embrace the blessings that come from daily study.
Let’s press forward with faith, knowing that the Lord magnifies our efforts as we seek Him. Keep up the great work!
February we celebrate Valentine’s Day and the love we have for our family and friends. We should also remember the love that Heavenly Father has for us, Hesed . This is a special kind of love described as mercy or lovingkindness. When we talk to our children about love this month let’s take the opportunity to remind them that they are children of a Heavenly Father who loves them dearly.

President Holladay shares the symbols and ordinances of ancient temples and how they relate to modern temples.
The Lord’s work is hastening, and each of us plays a role in gathering Israel. This month, pray for missionary opportunities and act on promptings to share the gospel with those around you. Your kindness, testimony, and invitations can lead others to feel the Savior’s love.
We are excited to invite you to participate in the Build-A-Bed Project, a stake-wide initiative where we are working with multiple faith groups and partnering with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization, to provide beds for children in need within our community. Many children lack a safe and comfortable place to sleep, and together, we can change that.
This project is a meaningful way to serve, build unity, and share the Savior’s love. The church has provided a generous humanitarian grant to facilitate the project and we still need many volunteers. You can learn and sign up to volunteer by visiting the Build-A-Bed Project event page. Let’s come together to bless the lives of others!

A temple recommend is a symbol of your worthiness and readiness to enter the house of the Lord. If your recommend is expired or soon to expire, please schedule an interview with a member of the bishopric and then the stake presidency. Let us prepare to worship and serve in the temple regularly.
Once you have finished your interview with a member of your bishopric, a member of the stake will reach out to you to schedule an interview with a member of the Stake Presidency.
